Factory Fitting Requirements
- Factory window settings suitable for most vehicles. These settings may be affected by the conditions of transportation and or storage of the product, some checks and adjustments are necessary to adjust your Canopy when first fitting on to your vehicle.
- The factory standard setting fits most vehicles, but require checking and tightening of screws and bolts is essential when first fitting on to your vehicle.
- It is necessary to unclip the gas struts from the backets before making the adjustments when first fitting.
- The hinge settings allow you to adjust the rear glass door, horizontally as well as the height and depth of the rear door when first fitting
- The adjustment of the slam latch will allow you to align the window to the profile of the canopy or to facilitate the locking of the locking system.
- The rear door glass as locks with a 3 position locking system. If any adjustments need to be made when opening or closing of the rear door, adjustments must be done when first fitting.
Service & Maintenance
- Items need regular service every 12 months. More frequent for off road condtions
- Ensure all mounting bolts remain tight. Hinge, Glass door & Locking system screws.
- Lubricate handle lock and key barrel recess on rear door.
- Clean door rubbers on tailgate assembly and lightly coat with silicone spray
- Locking system lubrication regularly and lock covers used for weather protection.
